A $25 Urban Experiences daily fee will be added to the daily room rate per room. This fee allows guests to enjoy many services and amenities without having to incur miscellaneous charges. The 21c Chicago Urban Experiences charge includes the following (exclusive of taxes):
- 21% discount to Lure Fishbar
- In-Room Coffee and Espresso
- (2) Path reusable water bottles & filtered water stations
- 10% off Museum of Ice Cream tickets
- Seasonal activations and programming
- Access to the Business Center with two iMacs and a printer
- 24-Hour access to Fitness Center, featuring Peloton & Pre-Cor equipment
Pooch in tow? Bring them along! Big or small, 21c Chicago does not have a pet weight limit and does not charge a pet fee.
Slumber party? Sorry, adult supervision is required. To reserve a room and check in, guests must be 21+ with valid identification.
Member of the jet set? While 21c Chicago does not offer a hotel shuttle to or from Chicago-area airports, we encourage those looking to book transportation to use SuperShuttle, Uber, Lyft, or the famous Chicago "L"!
We are conveniently located less than 18 miles from Chicago O'Hare International Airport and 12 miles from Midway International Airport.
Got plastic? We require a major credit card to be presented at check-in time. The card must belong to the guest checking in to the room (and match their photo ID.) Credit cards will be authorized for the full amount of room and tax, PLUS $100 per day for incidentals. Since most banks don’t release authorizations for 7 to 10 days after check-out time, we don’t recommend using a debit card at check-in. And, sorry Charlie, unfortunately we can’t accept cash as a form of deposit or payment. Credit cards and debit cards are welcome forms of payment at check-out.

All room rates are subject to applicable taxes, with Uncle Sam’s take currently at 17.4% per room, per night.
- Baby bed didn’t fit in the suitcase? Cribs are available by request at no additional charge.
- Bed hogs stealing your covers? Rollaway beds are available for a nightly fee of $30.

Need to scoot out early? Let us know at least 24 hours in advance to avoid an early departure fee. Within 24 hours? Call the Front Desk for details.

Redeeming your goods? Someone has nice taste! Make sure you let the reservationist know you will be using a gift certificate at the time of the reservation. And be sure to present the original gift certificate at check-in.
- Arriving early or trying to sleep in? Standard check-in time is 4pm and check-out time is 11am.
- Early check-ins are based on availability and are not guaranteed. Late check outs are subject to availability.
- Any guest checking out after 11am, but before 4pm will be charged a late check-out fee equal to half of the nightly rate plus tax. Check-outs after 4pm will be charged the full nightly rate.
Footing the bill? How generous! To cover another party’s room charges and/or incidentals, please contact Guest Services at Guestservices@21cChicago.com to request a secure link through which you can input credit card information for authorization via Sertifi.
Thinking of lighting up? No butts about it. We have a strict NO SMOKING policy. A $250 deep-cleaning fee will be charged to any room that smells of smoke.
Want to send a special delivery? In order to ensure each guest receives a smooth check-in, we’ll deliver any packages, goodie bags, etc. to guest rooms. A fee of $3 per room will apply. Please contact the hotel no later than seven days prior to arrival to arrange the deliveries.
Step in a puddle? 21c offers same-day laundry and dry cleaning service Monday through Saturday. Place the items in the laundry bag found in your guest room closet, fill out the ticket, and have both at the front desk by 8am. Wrinkle in your wardrobe plans? We also iron and steam garments on site.
Wondering where to park your wheels? Valet services are available at the hotel for $75 for every 24 hours with in-and-out access. If you decide to self-park, there are a number of garages in the immediate area. Need directions? Call our front desk at 888.345.9009 or find us on Google Maps.
